These are just simple Bourne Shell scripts for compiling and converting
LaTeX-related files and removing files created by LaTeX-related software.

Those compile*-scripts are not very good for those LaTeX-docs needing
bibtex and/or more than than one (pdf)latex-run. So, use some more
specialized software for that purpose or find or create some good Makefile:
